Dr Taner Dosluoglu is founder and CEO of weeteq LTD, with decades of successful technology innovation and disruptive product introduction experience in image sensors, audio & power management ICs, and recent introduction of Ultra Edge as circuit level machine learning for industrial motor control. Prior to weeteq, he was the co-founder and CEO of Endura Technologies which was founded in San Diego and expanded R&D operations in Dublin, Ireland. Since 1992, he has managed research and development teams at Tektronix, Sarnoff, and Dialog Semiconductors in US and established Dialog Edinburgh Design Center in 2007. He has more than 50 issued patents covering a wide range of innovations.
Received her Ph.D in image processing from Muroran Institute of Technology in Japan in 2004 where she specialized in computer vision and machine learning. Since then, she has focused on image processing and document processing in Canon Inc. From 2019, she joined Research Center of Kyocera Corporation as an Expert. Her current interests include deep learning and computer vision for objects detection, fraud detection, object recognition and object tracing. Dayan LIU received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Lille 1, France, in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he held postdoctoral positions in Arts et Métiers ParisTech, France and at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Currently, Dr. Liu is Associate Professor in INSA Centre Val de Loire, where he belongs to Control Team in PRISME Laboratory. In January 2022, he earned the Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR). His research interests mainly focus on identification and estimation for fractional order systems. Dr. Liu has published about 100 papers in international journals and conferences, and has supervised 12 Ph.D. students (10 have defended). Moreover, he has participated in more than 10 Chinese, French and American research projects. Jiaxin Cai received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Computation Science from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014. He also received his M.S. degree and B.Sc. degree in Bio-medical Engineering from Southern Medical University in 2011 and 2008 respectively. Currently, he is an associate professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Xiamen University of Technology. He has authored over 36 peer-reviewed papers at academic journals and conferences. His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision and bio-medical engineering.
Dr. Deborah Dahl is an expert on Conversational AI and related standards, with over 30 years of experience in natural language processing technology, including Large Language Models. She has previously worked on developing natural language systems for large corporations, startups, and government agencies, including NASA. She is also an expert on speech and language standards, with over 20 years of experience in standards work at the World Wide Web Consortium and the Linux Foundation AI and Data Foundation. Dr. Dahl has written many technical papers and four books, including Multimodal Interaction with W3C Standards: Toward Natural User Interfaces to Everything, published in 2016, and Natural Language Understanding with Python, published in 2023. She is also a frequent peer reviewer for conferences such as the Association for Computational Linguistics and the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing. Dr. Dahl received her Ph.D. in linguistics in 1984 from the University of Minnesota, followed by post-doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania in cognitive science.
Smain FEMMAM is Director of research at the University of Haute-Alsace France and responsible of the Research team on Signals & Safety Systems of Polytechnic Engineers School Sceaux France. He received the MS and Ph.D. degrees in Signal Processing and Computers from Versailles University, France in 1997 and 1999 respectively. Since 2013 he is promoted to a rank of senior director of research (HDR). After that, he joined the CMU Carnegie Mellon University & West Virginia University as Postdoc Fellow and Distinguished Visiting Professor. His main research area is signal processing, safety systems, communication and embedded systems. He has a strong interest in perception and characterization of signals, optimal filtering, spectral analysis, wavelets and perception haptics. Dr. Femmam is a senior member of IEEE, SEE and GDR ISIS.
